Dr. Dawn at Blue Sparrow!

Oliver (cat) is... read more usually very sweet but for some reason turns into a major jerk at the vet office. And he's a big guy so some techs have even seemed afraid of him - very embarrassing. Dr. Araba and her assistant are friendly and clearly fond of cats. They get along well with Oliver and he really likes not leaving the house. A while back, he had major digestive issues. My old vet wanted to put him on prednisolone for the rest of his life and call it a day. I asked if it might be his food (dry kibble for urinary tract issues) and she scoffed and dismissed any alternative possibilities. She retired shortly thereafter and I decided to try holistic care with Blue Sparrow. After some trials and tribulations Dr. Araba deduced that Oliver was allergic to chicken and after I switched him to non-chicken wet food, he made a miraculous recovery! I give him some fancy raw stuff now but it's way better than medicating him until it messes something else up. Added bonus - now that he eats wet food, he doesn't have the urinary tract crystal problem.
