Adequan Shortage
Note to clients:
We received notification from Novartis/Elanco (maker and distributor of Adequan) that they are experiencing a manufacturing delay of this medication/supplement. Supplies are going to be limited for the foreseeable future. If your canine or feline is taking this medication, we do recommend on refilling ASAP if you are getting low to insure you have enough to continue successful treatment.
If you can remember when this occurred in the past, it was almost 10 months before supplies returned to “normal”. Unfortunately, we cannot predict when this will resolve.
Other supplemental options and more frequent acupuncture and/or laser treatments can also assist should you find you are unable to refill Adequan in a timely manner.
